Course Structure

The MBA Digital course equips students to navigate rapid technological, environmental, and economic changes through a collaborative, student-driven approach. Emphasizing practical, applied learning, students bring real-world challenges into the course, aligning assessments with their current roles and professional goals. Delivered entirely online, the course also focuses on the importance of digital skills in shaping future business models and transformations. It stands out from traditional programs by promoting a progressive, supportive, non-hierarchical environment, emphasising collaboration over competition. Covering topics like environmental change, geopolitical trends, and technological advancements, the course aligns with Monash’s IMPACT 2030 initiative. Assessments include live oral evaluations, encouraging students to reflect on their problem-solving strategies using AI and other tools.

This course is structured in three parts: Part A. Project management essentials knowledge, Part B. Project management advanced theory and practice, and Part C. Project management application studies. All students complete Part C. Depending upon prior qualifications, you may receive credit for Part A or Part B, or both.

Note: If you are eligible for credit for prior studies, you may elect not to receive the credit.

Entry level 1: 72 credit points to complete

Duration: 2 years part-time

An Australian bachelor’s degree in a cognate discipline* or an equivalent qualification, with at least a credit (60%) average or an equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA).

Or an Australian bachelor degree, or equivalent qualification, with at least a credit (60%) or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) plus two years relevant work experience**.

Entry level 2: 48 credit points to complete

Duration: 1.4 years part-time

A Monash University Graduate Certificate of Project Management with at least a credit (60%) average.

Entry level 3: 24 credit points to complete

Duration: 0.7 years part-time

A Monash University Graduate Diploma of Project Management with at least a credit (60%) average.

English requirements

Applicants must meet the English language requirements.

Minimum entrance requirements apply for admission to Monash University Australia.

For the Master of Project Management, the estimated cost is $4,375.00 per unit. You may be eligible to receive a FEE-HELP loan to cover part or all of your tuition. Fees are subject to change annually.
