Description:

‘Accounting for healthcare managers’ introduces basic accounting principles, contextualised for the health care sector and the financial issues confronting health care managers, such as budgeting, cost management and performance management. The information requirements of two main groups are examined: external users such as owners or investors; and internal users such as managers. You will gain practical skills in analysing and interpreting financial statements, and how to assess financial performance.
