Description:

‘Introduction to management’ introduces core management concepts, contextualised within the specific needs of health care services. You will learn about the current challenges facing managers in the dynamic health care industry, and explore topics including: the role of the individual, the importance of teamwork, team culture, conflict management, effective decision making and ethical considerations. You will participate in a variety of activities, including interactive case studies, and have the opportunity to apply theory to ‘real’ world examples through group presentations.
